Fire Outbreak in Wuse: If you're planning to visit Wuse market, please postpone your visit for the time being

 

A fire has erupted in the well-known Wuse market located in the Central Area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The reason behind the fire remains unknown as of the time this report is being filed. However, the incident has brought an abrupt halt to the day's business activities in the Market Area.

The situation has led to widespread pandemonium, with people in a state of confusion. Additionally, there is heavy traffic congestion on all the roads leading to the market, as individuals are observed fleeing in various directions. 

Upon arrival at the market, Our correspondent observed that a portion of the market, particularly the car park on the northern side of the entrance, was ablaze, with smoke rising into the air. Several vehicles in the car park had already succumbed to the flames. Within the market, individuals were observed attempting to escape by forcibly jumping over the perimeter fence.
